As we have just opened our online store I thought I would kick our first Blog off by telling you a bit about us. Established in 2012 by a Husband & wife team, with a passion for the outdoors.  We realised long ago there was a need for quality items at affordable prices such as LED lighting for people that like getting off the beaten track, and my background in the electrical/mechanical engineering sector provided a sound transition to sourcing, testing and supplying these products. 

 

After testing and research spanning over a year for LED Task lighting and spot lighting we found favourable outcomes with two manufactures.

 

Why did the research take so long? Because we personally tested, each model in the great outdoors, for suitability and reliability. 

We sold many items before advertising and marketing, simply through word of mouth, due not only to the quality of the products but the customer service being offered during and after sales. We then migrated to advertising in various forms of media until recently opening up our website. 

Whilst we are providing quality products at affordable prices, we continue to work with the manufactures along with researching and testing additional products to ensure we keep up with technology. We intend to continue expanding our range of products once we are satisfied that an item meets a standard that we are comfortable will provide the durability needed in the harsh outdoor environments that we all love to explore. 

So why buy from us? Sure! We are not the cheapest, and you can visit online auction sites and buy a selection of lights cheaper than what we offer, but are they tested for durability and longevity by the people selling them? And most importantly do they comply with Australian regulations? All our products are RCM (previously C-Tick) compliant and carry the Australian RCM logo.  Through our growing relationship direct with the manufacturer we also have the support and backing for all the products we sell.

Our philosophy is to provide a quality product at a realistic price.  Not the cheapest and certainly not the dearest, but most off all we strive to provide you, the customer with a seamless and painless process of selecting the right lighting solution for your needs and backing that with after sales support, service and advice.
